You are in a packed movie theater with your date. The lights are dim
and the movie is playing. You feel as if no one else is around—the place
is all yours—you sneak a kiss and hold hands as if you were all alone in an
intimate park alcove. But, you’re not alone in that theater—you’re with a
big crowd of people who are close enough to hear your secrets and share
your romance. You are invigorated by the sense that the line between your
personal space and public space is very fine. This exciting feeling is the
essence of our client’s desire for a project that can be exposed and very
public and yet at the same time feel intimate, secure and private. As a design
concept, an exposed secret is more exciting than a hidden storyline!
