I’ve been a custom home framing
contractor for over 20 years, and this
project is my favorite of all time. I love the
design and how everything- how every
single feature just seems to perfectly
work- how it perfectly sits on the site. In
the evenings, I love looking over the
drawings to find the answers to this
fantastic puzzle…it’s fun because in the
morning I can visualize the design and
how my crew is going to execute it.
It’s a challenge to look through all the
detailed plans but I also know that the
answer is there somewhere and that’s
what makes it fun too. The one area of
the project I was most surprised about
and really love is the garage. The way it is
designed it captures so much great
storage space you’d never think about. I
could go on and on about the spa room,
the sky pier and even the way the
mezzanine all flows together.
Everyone on the project from the ORR
team, the other trades and Mercado
Construction have been so professional,
and team spirited to make my work
easier.
