The First Concept:
A Fusion with
Nature
The initial design concept
(Concept One) reflected the
clients’ wish for a
harmonious relationship
between building and
landscape. The home seemed
to emerge organically from the
hillside, integrating natural
elements into the architecture.
Massive boulders from the site
were incorporated into the
design, one of which served as
the base for a cantilevered
concrete dining table. This
