East Sacramento 1920s
Tudor Cottage Rebuild
On a leafy East Sacramento street, a 1950s
ranch house has been reimagined as a charming
1920s-style Tudor Cottage. Inspired by historic
homes on streets nearby, this transformation
blends old-world charm with modern functionality
for a growing family.
Rebuilt on its original foundation, the home
features high-pitched roofs, dormer windows,
and intricate brick details, creating the illusion
it has always been part of the neighborhood.
Inside, six bedrooms, modern amenities, and
a guest suite provide space and comfort for a
family of five. The detached garage was replaced
with a new structure, topped by a versatile
second-floor space for games and crafts,
designed to convert into a future apartment.
Outdoor spaces include a welcoming front
courtyard with a fire pit, lounge seating, and
fresh landscaping—perfect for warm evenings
with neighbors and friends. The goal: to
seamlessly blend past and present, creating a
home that feels as though it has always belonged.
