“Simple Craftsmanship”

This narrative informed every decision, from the
placement of rooms to the façade’s details. The
result is a unique fusion of modern simplicity and
historic Mediterranean charm, inspired by old
European farmhouses where functional needs take
precedence over decoration. Every element—from
exposed trussed ceilings to intimate courtyards—
speaks to the craftsmanship and artistry of a
mythical “master builder.”
A HOME IN HARMONY
WITH THE LAND
The Mediterranean climate and oak-dappled hills
shaped the home’s layout and features. Designing
a house in a forest presents unique challenges:
while the views are beautiful, they can risk feeling
repetitive without focal points to draw interest.
Ground Floor
To create a dynamic experience, the design team
introduced “layered views.” Windows frame the
woodland from different angles, transforming the
landscape into an unfolding journey. A vine-covered
trellis at the entrance welcomes visitors, guiding
them through a transparent corridor that offers their
first glimpse of the vineyard and oak forest beyond.
