we delve into the critical phase of
laying the groundwork for a lasting
structure. This episode showcases
the orchestration of heavy machinery
and meticulous manual labor as the
site is sculpted to accommodate the
home’s foundation and essential
retaining walls. Witness various trades
collaborating seamlessly: formwork
is precisely positioned under the
surveyor’s guidance, while plumbers,
electricians, and utility specialists
install conduits, air ducts, drainage
systems, gas lines, and water and
sanitation pipes. The ORR Design Office
team, alongside the engineers, conduct
frequent on-site meetings to address
queries, provide field sketches, and
supply necessary data, ensuring a
smooth progression. We also candidly
share an error that occurred during the
foundation work, illustrating how such
challenges are addressed promptly,
reinforcing the importance of teamwork
and adaptability in construction-things
happen.
